Tuscany is certainly not lacking in terroirs, many of which are a lot more famous, but for me none of them have the charm and character of Maremma. I think it can be considered one of the wildest and most natural terroirs in the whole of Italy.

We mustn’t forget that the part of Maremma around the city of Grosseto, and in particular the town of Roselle, bears many traces of its Etruscan past. It has also built a strong agricultural identity since the drainage work of the nineteenth century. This drainage led to an incredible enrichment of the soils in Maremma, which are now distinguished by a great variety of types and give the wines produced in this exceptional terroir their distinct minerality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_masonry_media_grid gap=”15″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1705406578579-5f16e6a0-d902-8″ include=”1864,1867,1861,1868,1862,1863,1865,1866″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1660″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1695910316118{background-color: #ebebeb !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1696494126743{padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1869″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1697552839783{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1696498836927{padding-top: 10% !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 10% !important;padding-left: 10% !important;background-color: #b4654d !important;}”][vc_column_text]A lot of people ask me why I chose Maremma as the place to set up GagiaBlu.
